This is my lunch today, along with other fabulous meals I've made and enjoyed recently.
I eat super healthy, not because I have iron willpower, but I actually LOVE and enjoy eating healthy food! I am a food snob, a foodie, and connoisseur of the finest freshest, organic food.
And being in California, a food paradise, it is easy!
AND I feel fabulous. I'm 46. Lots of energy. No extra pounds.
No starving or crash diets.
Feel heavy or bloated after meals?
Have a little extra around the middle, or lower? (you know what I mean)
We should talk. I can show you my secrets to food success!

So, I found out quite recently that I am a Synesthete. I have Synesthesia, ever heard of it?
No, it's not contagious, it's a neurological phenomenon where the cognitive pathways combine the senses in unique ways. Apparently, there is a small percentage of the population that has this. It's like having blended senses. Some people see sound, taste color, or experience other people's emotions or senses. I have the grapheme kind, where numbers have colors associated with them as do days of the week, months of the year, etc.
So when I picture a number in my head, it is always in color, and numbers almost always have the same color, it doesn't vary for me. For instance, a number 1 is white, 2 is blue, 3 is red 4 is green and so on. They have always been these colors and it hasn't changed over time.
I remember the magnetic refrigerator magnets were so frustrating and I would ask my parents why they made them in the wrong colors. Surely this confused other children and hindered their learning process? So silly, why would they do that? Well, a Synesthete did not develop them! I also see the days of the week this way, and the days of the week have a spacial placement or a 3D arrangement in space if you will, as do calendar months and years, etc. Who knew? I thought everybody saw it this way....do you not?
I also have the empathic version (don't know yet if it has a name) of feeling other peoples body's and feelings.
The empathic part of this is what factors into my ability as an Intuitive healer. I feel other people's conscious and subconscious thoughts, emotions and even the insides of their bodies, the muscles, organs, etc. It's not all the time, and not on command. I don't think about it, it is just evident to me, usually as a sensation in my own body, which I then have to see who it belongs to, me or the other person.
During a healing session, this greatly heightens the ability to determine what is going on in there. I might feel the pain or discomfort in the corresponding area of my own body. I might feel a problem or density in an area where the energy is not flowing properly, or I might get a flash of insight about an imbalance or a word that describes the cause of the issue. Then together, we clear and release the issue and send healing energy to the area.
If you are baffled or unclear about what is going on with your health, or an area of your life, check out an intuitive healing session. Book with me to do in-person, phone or online.
Have you ever wondered what you really are, why you are here, or what God is? Self Realization is a deep and lived understanding of these things on the Ultimate level. The term can be used to describe the clarity and realization of the answers to some of life’s conundrums. Many philosophers have written about the questions life poses, such as: What is the meaning of life? How does one attain happiness and fulfillment? The answer to these questions is not something objective and concrete, yet many seem to be searching for it.
Another word for Self Realization is Enlightenment. Is Enlightenment possible? Most people don’t consider the possibility of Enlightenment a reality. I didn’t. “That’s for Buddha and Jesus and beings like that, but not me”. Actually, in this day and age, it is very possible for people to gain a higher level of consciousness and experience profound spiritual clarity. Many are catching a glimpse of Unity Consciousness. This may sound preposterous or just not important, but it truly involves your life every day. Why do things happen the way they do? Why are there so many problems, so much suffering in the world? What is the cause of this? And how do we find balanced and workable solutions?
We will all experience tragedy in our lifetimes. Pain, death, disaster and loss are an innate part of life on earth at this time. They are inevitable. The question is: how prepared are we to handle and understand what is happening, and how will these events be viewed? Will they be experienced as painful and leave a deep scar in our psyche? Will they be viewed as a sobering opportunity? All situations are open for subjective interpretation. This choice of interpretation and reaction is empowering and quite amazing. All of Life is perfectly choreographed to help us grow, succeed and be happy, even events we previously interpreted as negative. Imagine how much easier life would be with further understanding and acceptance of this process. It would be enlightening, wouldn’t it?
To discover more about this process of positivity practices and personal growth, come to one of my seminars or schedule a session with me.
As a kid, I remember floating around in the pool one day and thinking: Life is like a board game. (You do remember board games, don't you?) I felt like I was playing a game, and no one had explained the rules to me. “What is going on here? It seems we are blindly playing this board game - trying to win, trying to buy Park Place AND Boardwalk, and haven't read the rules of the game, therefore don’t know what we are doing and why!"
Now, if you play a game and don't know the objective, or how to win, the game is aimless and just to pass time. Nothing much is going to come out of this, except possibly some level of temporary entertainment. What is the point? What really matters?
In today's world, we are mostly looking for self gratification, being comfortable and having more. The Truth is, no matter what we do while we are here on earth, our time here will end. Those that do not know the rules of the game will not be able to play it in its entirety.
In order to truly thrive, we must first gain an understanding of why we are here and what the game is all about. We can fully enjoy and win at the game of life and at the end, not wish we had a do-over.
Intuition = Knowing the Rules
Intuition is a valuable tool to develop in order to achieve these things. As you build rapport with your own system, your body and your life will change. You can then work from a higher perspective where you know the rules and object of the game. Are you interested in intuition, psychic healing, readings, or using the body's innate wisdom to heal itself? Would you like to see your life and the lives of others heal and be joyful instead stressful?
Check out my Intuition Seminar Series starting in September to gain clarity and know the rules before you play the game.
See you there,
My first ever blog post! I wanted to share a bit about myself and why I do what I do. I welcome your feedback. Enjoy.
I was always intuitive. As a small child, I would talk to my parents about things that they could not see, and their reply was "you have a very active imagination, honey". I would see colors, feel emotions and see people that weren't there. I would get very scared and no one could explain what I was seeing to me with any satisfaction. I thought maybe I was weird or even worse, a bit crazy.
I was born into a world I didn't understand and wondered what the point of it was. I was the kid who asked the questions like “Who am I?” or “Why are we here?” I wanted to understand the purpose of this life. There was so much discontent from the lack of answers that I became depressed and full of despair. Life seemed quite pointless. I became weak and kind of sickly, as if there was little will to live. When I was 11 years old, after many bouts of tonsillitis, my tonsils were so infected they had to be removed.
I went in for a routine tonsillectomy and actually died. I was coding, and my mom was in the room with me, she was screaming for the doctors and nurses and they started working on me. As I left my body, I had the typical and often recounted near-death experience...going down a hallway and in each room off the hall seeing a catalog of earlier life. When I reached the end and there was bright light, I knew there were other beings with me and they casually asked me a question: "So, do you want to stay, or go back?"
I thought for a minute...I really didn't think it was a good idea to leave my family and wanted to go back and help everyone. I said that I wanted to return, and whoosh! I was in my body there were paddles on my chest and people were working on me. My mother was crying and as I reassured her, I passed out for hours or could have been days.
But the point is, I came back to help. And since I had suffered from poor health so much in my life, it has been my greatest passion and motivation to help ease the suffering of others, and help others see what I see, and have the healing I have had. To help others have a Greater Joy and appreciation of life.
I have studied many methods of alternative and holistic healing and am now quite healthy, and live an active and inspired life. As I embraced life giving principles and substances, my body and being responded. And I am certain, as you learn to tap into your own healing wisdom and be true to yourself, you will too.
